A Message from our Commodore

Welcome fellow boaters!

My name is Pierre De Gagné and I am the Commodore of Trident Yacht Club. I am glad to introduce you to our Club!
Trident Yacht Club (TYC) has been in continuous operation since 1964. It’s a friendly, family-oriented Club that has been a second home for its Members.

We are located in the 1000 Islands, on the beautiful and protected Bateau Channel of the St. Lawrence River between Kingston and Gananoque, offering easy access to the renowned Thousand Island cruising area as well as close proximity to Lake Ontario.

TYC offers great facilities for sail and power boaters alike, including well-maintained docks, a spacious Clubhouse with self-serve kitchen, event facilities, and beautiful shaded grounds with scenic views for relaxing with family and friends.

Our fees are competitive, and membership includes full use of all Club facilities, docks with power and water, free pump-out and parking, as well as reciprocal privileges at many other Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River yacht clubs.
There is also a full calendar of fun social, cruising, and racing events. Our strength is our community spirit where sharing knowledge and helping each other is the rule and not the exception. You will be very challenged to find a group with more willing experts in anything boating!

I invite you to explore our website where you will find more details about our Club facilities, and membership advantages. I think once you have seen what Trident has to offer, you’ll want to

Pierre De Gagné, Commodore (2024 – 2025), Trident Yacht Club
