About our club

Located on the beautiful Bateau Channel, TYC is a friendly, family-oriented, well-run club. We cater primarily to the cruising boater, both sail and power.

Functioning as a yacht club since 1964, we are self-governed by a Board of Directors elected by our members. We have a full-time manager and during the summer boating season, we also have a dock master.

Our grounds, harbour and clubhouse are beautifully kept and our docks are constantly upgraded.

Trident is a member of LOCCA, and a True Reciprocal Club.

We offer a family friendly environment for boaters of all ages.

Friendships that will last a lifetime

TYC organizes five or more social events during the summer season. While these events are optional, they offer great social benefits for members. Three are generally held at the Club, one in the local area, and one away.  The events tend to be combined with a sailing/boating event at the same time (e.g. Long Distance Cruise, Round Howe Island Race).

Our club thrives on volunteer support, fostering teamwork and a strong sense of ownership among members.
